Last month, i attended the Redline Time Attack finals in Fontana, CA. I was there shooting without a client or sponsor, just reconnecting with one of my favorite sports without the pressures of having to shoot anything or anyone in particular. While i was there though, i managed to run into my old midwest friends from AMS Performance in the paddocks.
Their Mitsubishi Evolution X was the currently leader in both the Unlimited AWD classes, and the overall championship. While they missed the overall championship by less than a second, they took home victory as Unlimited AWD Champions for the 2009 season. I was able to sit down with the crew from AMS for some car talk, some sharing of memories past, and a little photoshoot which got picked up by my friends over at UrbanRacer for a feature article.
