If you’re an Ataris fan, you’ll instantly recognize the reference above as one to the great city of Santa Barbara, CA. This is where fellow photographer and long-time friend (where have you heard that before?) JB Del Rosario spent this past weekend. With rainy weather, and no cars to shoot or events to cover, i couldn’t just let my camera sit around collecting dust. So we packed our bags, hopped on the Amtrak heading North with no clear destination and ended up in this seaside city.
As if the on-train bar wasn’t enough, upon arriving we paid a visit to the Santa Barbara Brewing Company to enjoy what ended up being some of the best steaks and brews i’ve ever had. If you ever find yourself in the area, i recommend stopping in!
